The Temporary Work (International Relations) (subclass 403) visa will allow you to come to Australia on a temporary basis to:
- undertake work or an activity in accordance with the terms and conditions of a bilateral agreement between a Commonwealth or state/territory government and a government of another country
- represent a foreign government (where you do not have official status) or be employed as a foreign language teacher by a foreign government in an Australian school
- undertake domestic work for the holder of a Diplomatic (Temporary) visa (subclass 995)
- be a person to whom privileges and immunities will be accorded under the International Organisations (Privileges and Immunities) Act 1963 or the Overseas Missions (Privileges and Immunities) Act 1995.
There are four streams for the Temporary Work (International Relations) (subclass 403) visa.
- Government Agreement stream
- Foreign government agency stream
- Domestic worker (diplomatic or consular) stream
- Privileges and immunities stream
